At the bottom, two doors close over the remaining compartment for everything that should be out of sight, swinging on metal hinges with a magnetic catch and round knobs that are easy to turn with damp hands. Total capacity across the cabinet is 110 lbs, and the engineered wood body weighs 41 lbs assembled on a 24-in by 13-in floor footprint. An anti-toppling device anchors it to the wall, which is worth doing on a body this tall before the upper shelves are loaded. Assembly is required. The mix of open display and closed storage is what makes it work as readily in kitchens and living rooms as in bathrooms.
