Navy poles and a 42 by 25 inch shatterproof PC backboard give this poolside hoop a darker look than the pastel sets, and the same panel takes a hard shot without cracking. Behind it a reinforced PE frame and a metal support bracket carry the load down to a heavy-duty base that accepts 200 lbs of water or 300 lbs of sand, which is what stops the whole thing wandering across the deck. The 18-inch rim carries a polyester net at 3.2 feet above the base, with the standing height reaching 5 feet. Bolted connections and painted metal poles hold the 38 lb frame together indoors or out. Two 9-inch balls and a pump ship alongside, and the 43 by 25 inch footprint tucks against a pool edge.
