Altaf Fatima is one of the writers who came to the fore in the sixth decade of the twentieth century. This famous fiction writer, novelist, translator, writer and teacher was born in Lucknow in 1927 and died at the age of 91. She had a unique style of her own which was reflected the roles, especially in female roles of her fiction. Readers can clearly see the color of patriotism and religiosity in her novels and short stories. This collection "Taar-e-Ankabuut" contains some selected short stories of Altaf Fatima.
