At twenty eight years old, BobbieJo DeMeza, is fighting a world of male dominance, even at six feet tall. She has wanted to be cop since she was in high school. She pursues her dream and relentlessly fine tunes her body and mind, earning a degree in criminology and spending countless hours in the gym. She joins Tampa Police Department right out of college. She has spent the last five years patrolling and working the streets of Suitcase City, one of Tampa's seedier sides of town. Earning a reputation of a tough cop who takes no BS from anyone. Now as the newest detective at TPD, she is faced with more skepticism, even from her new partner, Carlos Alfonso. She has paid her dues, and she is really tired of the good old boys fraternity and the hazing. She is especially tired of her former boyfriend, Assistant State's Attorney, Frank Lemus, who is determined to ruin her. She seriously considers giving it up, until she meets a certain Firefighter/Paramedic that sets her world on fire.
