Welcome to this transformational journey we call recovery. The 12 steps were first published in 1939 through Alcoholics Anonymous. Since then, many millions of people have used the steps to find sobriety and recovery from addictions and destructive coping strategies.
We have created our own version of the 12 steps. We have also added questions in this workbook in an effort to help you experience and advance your healing in the areas of pornography addiction, sexual addiction as well as physical and emotional infidelity.
The 12 Steps to Becoming Well from Sexual Addiction includes:
- Goals: What you are trying to understand, experience breakthrough in, and accomplish by completing each step.
- Expectations: What you should experience, grow from, and find as a result of working a specific step.
- Hurdles: Things that can make completing the step more challenging and ways to overcome those.
- In-depth questions: Dozens of questions within each step asked in specific ways to help you deepen your recovery and increase your focus within the step.
- Step Summary Questions: Help solidify what you learned, discovered, and come to terms with while working each step.
