The inspiration for Little Beady began when author James P. Woods was just two years old. During church, while whispering beneath the pews, he introduced his mother to a character only he could see: "Mom, it's Little Beady." From that moment, Little Beady's adventures grew, shared with his grandmother Lucille Marigold, who encouraged him to tell more and more stories.
This book is lovingly dedicated to her memory, as well as to the author's grandchildren, who call him "Pop", and to his wife Christine ("Numnum"), who helped bring this story to life.
