Poppy lives in the basement of a fancy hotel, visits the Spy Museum every day, and loves her cat. She doesn't have many friends, but who needs friends if you have a cat?
When Poppy overhears someone plotting to steal an expensive necklace and blame her mom for the theft, she has barely any clues to go on to stop the thieves. And Blackie, her cat, needs to get his spy food every day or he goes back to being a regular cat. Even worse, if the hotel manager finds out about Blackie, she'll make Poppy get rid of him.
Poppy will have to use everything she's learned about spying to keep her mom from being fired. She has a few aces up her sleeve-after years of living in the hotel basement, she knows the hotel's spaces better than anyone. But the most important thing working in her favor-she has a spy cat.
