Carl Jones, a.k.a. Stinky Feet, has trouble all over. His mom is stressed out, his dad left six months ago and has yet to return, and suddenly Tamia-the most beautiful girl in school-has finally started paying him some much-wanted attention. With his best friend Day-Day giving questionable advice and his big brother Darius making life harder day by day, Stinky wades through, knowing that one day, things are going to be easier. They just have to be.
