During the discussion on the Internal Revenue Law'which took place at the last meeting of the American Pharmaceutical Association, at Detroit, Mich., Prof. Edward Parrish remarked that the solution of citrate of magnesia prepared by the formula of the Pharmacopoeia would not keep, but soon produced a crys talline precipitate of neutral citrate of magnesia. Since my name was then mentioned in this connection, it may not be con Sidered out of place to Offer some remarks on this subject.
