She spent her life waiting—for a father who never showed up, for love that didn't last, for someone to choose her. From growing up in the shadow of a man who gave his affection to everyone but her, to becoming a teen mom forced to live a lie, this is the story of a woman who carried silence like a second skin. Generational pain, betrayal, emotional abuse, and broken relationships followed her like echoes—until she chose to break the cycle. The Birthday He Never Knew is a raw, powerful journey through abandonment, motherhood, identity, and healing. Told with brutal honesty and tender clarity, this memoir shows what it means to rebuild yourself when no one else ever taught you how. This is not just a story about what she survived. It's about what she became. The love she never got—she gave to herself. And that changed everything. "I spent years waiting to be chosen—until I realized I could choose myself. That was the beginning of everything."
