What caused Louise Hoelscher's sudden illness and how did she contact it? The police couldn't figure it out and neither could the Mayo Clinic. A medical mystery ensues so that after her death, her husband, needing to know what really happened, contacts Dr. Donne. What results is a medical thriller written with significant suspense in the style of great literature and reminiscent of the relationship between Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.
