It was only supposed to be temporary, a place to stay when he returned home, just until he got back on his feet. Then he woke up to find his cousin and her husband gone, vanished in the night. But that was only the start. What they left behind was so much worse. Horror author C. Dennis Moore (the Angel Hill series, the Holiday Horrors, the Monsters of Green Lake series) takes you to the edge of sanity in this 8000-word short story. Be very afraid of what you might find in the dark.
