In the last installment of the gemstone series, Callie and Clara Ramirez are sent off to Council Headquarters to be tested on their powers. Callie still practices black magic, which if pushed could have major repercussions. While the girls are kept captive, their friends work together to get them out. Meanwhile, angels are making a move on all supernatural races. They are in hunt of the angel-human hybrid, who is rumored to have unlimited power. This hybrid could mean the beginning of a terrible reign, or perhaps could be the end to the horrific war. The witches have to escape from the Council and find the hybrid. Perhaps another gemstone could be the key to their success?
