Andrew and Amanda Hill, along with their daughter Anna, need a vacation. Overworked and needing a break, they head to a campground Amanda remembers from childhood. Anna, a fourteen-year-old, hates the idea, and makes sure her parents know it.
Compromising by allowing Anna's friend, Liz, to join them, they go to Lakeview Cabins, only they're not what Amanda remembers. Things aren't right from the moment they meet Paul Lamere and his strange accent, and continue to escalate. The campground, once filled with playing children and their parents, seems to be nearly empty.
