Alycia Ardsen had everything a princess could desire except for a father who paid any attention to her and a mother who was still alive. When she was unexpectedly sent away everything changed. She was kidnapped, beaten and rendered powerless. She vowed that would never happen again. Alycia joined the Daughters of Ceras and threw herself into a new life, thinking she could leave her previous one behind, thinking she could get her revenge against those who kidnapped her. Then her father died, her kidnapper became her friend, and the Daughters of Ceras sent her home to claim the thrown from those who would do anything to stop her.
