Lily has always felt that she was destined for great things. She and her brother, Mathis, live in happiness and harmony with their mother, Queen Adelina Arluin. Lily learns much from her mother's wise rule over the land of Frementia-until her mother's ill-fated new marriage places the kingdom under a tyrant's control and paints a target on the backs of the royal family.
