War breaks out on Earth as Xander is faced with the choice of a good life in his old community or being sent back to space where he will be with Eden but lose his chance to have a normal life.
Eden, who has no idea that Xander is still alive, struggles to make it through the space station's version of the Olympics and attempt at population elimination. Luckily, she makes a new friend who helps her forget some of her lingering sadness from missing Xander.
How many people will have to die in order for the two of them to find safe places to live? And will they ever see each other again?
