Take one newly trained Fire Mage. Make him the first (sane) Fire Mage that's been born in the past two hundred years. Have him leave home and venture into the Empire of Sol. Add one powerful, curious, fire-eating dragon who keeps stalking him. Throw in an arsonist on the loose, ancient artifacts coming to life, and a mystery to be solved and Krys more than has his hands full as a newly minted dragon rider firefighter. Now if he could catch the madman and prevent the whole empire from burning down, that'd be great. Krys hopes the arsonist isn't another Fire Mage, but the odds aren't looking good.
