Asphodel is a weird little town; a beacon for all things strange and unusual. Icarus has been fascinated by the rumors of strange phenomena ever since he was old enough to realize the strangeness of it. He is joined by his three best friends: Ari, his childhood friend with a heart of gold, Theseus, the new kid in town with a troubled past, and Solae, the enigmatic girl who shares both Icarus' passion for all things mystical as well as his love of good music. The four friends stumble upon a secret hidden in Asphodel, which launches them on a mythical quest that weaves in and out of their daily lives in ways they could never imagine. At the same time, they must find a way to balance their impending high school graduation, individual dreams of the future, and their feelings for each other, making for a senior year that will forever alter each one of them.
