The inhabitants of the planets Tauri A, Tauri B, and Corinthian have spent the past few decades listening closely to broadcasts picked up from the distant planet of Earth. Their favorite tracks are anything with a great beat!
Without knowing it, Earth has been feeding the aliens' hip-hop obsession for generations. DJ Rob-O, a robotic disc jockey with his own interplanetary radio station, is the one who started it all-and he realizes too late that his broadcasts have put Earth in danger.
A group of aliens known as the Crashers are making their way across the universe, and they have it out for the Kinetic Kids, Earth's greatest hip-hop heroes. The Crashers are jealous of the Kids' new rhymes, and they will do anything to become the best musicians in the universe-even if that means eliminating all competition.
Michael, Sammy, Jasmine, Jeanie, and Yoshi had no idea that their music was popular with an alien race! When the five middle schoolers are contacted by Rob-O, they can't believe what the robot has to say. The five will have to harness the power of hip-hop (along with some amazing gadgets provided by Rob-O) to win against these alien posers!
