Competing in a Math Marathon is the smallest of problems for Eve in this new chapter of the series. As time advances, the teenager becomes more and more involved in the war between Gavin Ballard and Titov Rurik and will have to take a permanent position on one of the sides. The result of this action will force her to keep up a twofold role, having to reconcile being part of a criminal life and keeping up appearances, pretending be a regular girl in the eyes of her mother and the rest of society. To complicate her situation, Eve will have to deal with some ghosts from the past, either in the form of a teacher with a dubious reputa-tion or a classmate who knows a secret about her mother and starts blackmailing her to keep quiet about what he knows. With the help of Pirro and an unusual pet, Eve will have to continue her dangerous journey, trying to make the island a more peaceful place, before her inevitable end.
