This is a true story of a little girl who continues to survive in her family with an abusive mother. The little girl grows up making poor peer connections, broken, unhealthy relationships and gets into drugs. Later on she meets two positive peers but they can't help her from choosing men that will devalue her just like her mother had done for most of her life. Follow this little girl through toddlerhood, adolescence, young adulthood, marriages, parenting to success and how she made it through it all with her guiding light.
There are many reasons I wanted to write this book. The main reason was to share the experience of a warrior. She was not alone in her journey, God was with her through every experience and direction she took in her life. Through sharing this true story it is my hope if you or someone you know needs help from abuse that they never give up and find the help that is needed. If you are going through a relationship which harbors abuse, know you are loved and you are not alone. As an author, my goal was to touch as many people as possible. God is always with you but you have to reach out to Him. It is ok to reach out and ask for help from trusted others. Most importantly to trust God and trust the process of healing. It is possible.
