Size: Paperback

Twenty-year-old Sarah works as a bartender in New York City. She decides to temporarily leave the big city after a terrible incident at her job at Shelly's Bar forces her to move to a distant, remote town, almost unheard of, except for a few. She has no idea, though, that for motives dating back at least twenty years, paranormal aberrations are waiting for her arrival.
Sarah shows up in this peculiar town. Since no bus passes through the town, the bus driver sets her off outside, refusing to enter the town, which Sarah finds off-putting and strange. After meeting the property manager and landlady, Mrs. Jenna Loganstan, Sarah makes plans to rent a room at a mansion that is managed by Jenna. This historic mansion is huge, with fifteen bedrooms and corridors.
Being there and away from the turmoil in the city just makes her feel relieved. She is unaware, however, that rather than finding the ghost town, she has been the victim of an incantation and that this will only come to an end once the individuals who live there have carried out a specific ritual, which will open an entrance for macabre and horrifying creatures to enter this world to complete the spell that began nearly thirty years ago with her mother.
A rite that can only be performed in the presence of human sacrifice.
