Dr. David Nolan gave up everything he knew to save his daughter's life, and by some stroke of luck, he's managed to find the greatest thing any human from his era could imagine: paradise. Basilla, the Cobra Goddess and self-proclaimed Naga Queen, brings him into her home in exchange for his help with her chores. It seems like a fair enough exchange: a little work for a life in a jungle Eden with white beaches and lush greenery. But Basilla is a hard woman, and it soon becomes apparent she has emotional scars she hides behind her arrogant remarks and cold glares. The longer he lives with her, the more the walls come down between them. They soon find they share a deep understanding of one another. David dares to think he might have fallen in love with the fierce Goddess. As they are trying to sort out their own complicated relationship, events begin to play out that startle both the Naga Queen and her friend. Someone is angry with the Cobra Goddess, and they are not being shy about it.
