Private eye Pete Goddard takes leave of Los Angeles to re-establish The Night Rabbit detective agency in his Northeast Ohio original home town. Lovely business partner Bonnie Kim decides to accompany him in the new venture. She acquires a beautiful beachfront home office, and it is here where The Night Rabbit opens its doors for discreet investigative services on the North Coast. Their plan is to ease smoothly into the new area with nondescript cases and solidify the agency's reputation. Yet the first opportunity offered them is anything but run of the mill. Instead, The Night Rabbit is asked to reopen a very bizarre double homicide case.
