It is up to Sylvester Dramain, survivor of an apocalyptic nuclear war, to undertake a perilous investigation. He must journey through the Dead Land to the remote station of Northpoint. There, he encounters fear, hate, and unexpectedly, the presence of a Perfect Circus. Why would one of the few untouched survivors of an apocalyptic nuclear war risk everything to the return to Northpoint? To solve the murder, Dramain would first have to uncover secret after secret. In doing so, he must again prevail against an unimaginable horror that puts the very survival of Northpoint at risk.
