In the second part of the series Peyton finds herself thrust into training for the life she desperately hopes will not be true. Everyone is finding their new paths and Seaton's secret weapon is put to use for the 1st time, that the world knows of, in centuries. New friendships are found, and love might be lost. Everyone is put to the test in their new rolls reborn from the ashes of their past they won't know until they are tested if they come out stronger or weaker.
There is love and loss in the story. Painful choices will have to be made for the world's sake. Not everyone will make it out of this year in Fells Falls alive.
