To provide for her younger sister, Francesca works for a wealthy woman as a live-in secretary and housekeeper. However, the job title doesn’t begin to cover what the job actually entails, and the lady of the house is a callous woman who exploits Francesca’s desperation. One day world-renowned heart specialist Professor Renier Pitt-Colwyn comes to the manor. Although Francesca and the professor are already acquainted, he pretends not to know her. It would seem the upper class are too good to speak to lowly servants such as herself!
