By re-tooling songs featured in the original Real Book, the Reharmonized Real Book shows new options on how melodies can be harmonized. Starting with a blank Real Book with only the melodies included, editor Jack Grassel reharmonized 393 songs, giving some songs fewer changes, some more changes, some different alterations, and some songs a more modern sound.
