Kobor Tigan't, the five-tiered city of the Giant, lives!
Abim the Dark and Opak the Genitrix no longer reign; now, it is the turn of Ta, gentle and White Ta, who, with a steady and heroic hand, now holds the reins of power. But the T'Lo, those half-reptilian, half-human, draw its inhabitants ever further into the decadent and perverted pleasures only they can provide. Ta's reign becomes increasingly perilous and. as the Matriarchy slowly comes to an end, it seems necessary for her to rely on the help of men in order to ensure the survival of her race.
Will a new supernatural power help Kobor Tigan't endure, or does it simply herald the coming of a new continent yet to be born, that of Atlantis.
The Reign of Ta, a sequel to Kobor Tigan't, was initially published in France by Robert Laffont in 1971. Its author, Christia Sylf (1924-1980), who has often been compared to Edgar Cayce, was a major French fantasy writer whose life was sadly cut short before she could complete her life's work.
Of this strange fantasy novel, so extraordinary that it defies all comparisons, best-selling author Robert Charroux wrote: "It is an erotic and marvelous fantasy, barbaric and sumptuous, telling us of the Giants who walked the Earth during her infancy, chronicling a world revealed to Sylf by supranormal privilege. It bears the mark of the highest initiation. It is a masterful work per excellence both in terms of its style and the transcendence of its inspiration."
