Lenore Marcantonio's The Sandwich Generation is an entertaining and enlightening story of a lifestyle which is all too common in today's society. This occurs when adults find themselves in the situation where they must not only care for their own family, but must also provide for the needs of their aging parents. They are 'sandwiched' between generations. The author shares her life experiences with the intent of helping those who can relate to her circumstances. In times of stress, hopefully, the reader will see that these are survivable times. Often, people do not give themselves credit for their achievements...they are much stronger than they believe themselves to be. About the Author Lenore Marcantonio resides in Rahway, New Jersey, the mother of four sons, Joseph, Dean, Scott, and Stephen. She has six grandchildren - Aubrey, Alec, Christopher, Natalie, Natasha, and Anthony - all between the ages of 5 and 20. She was employed for many years in food service by well-known country clubs and later was a teacher's aide, working with children from 2 to 5 years of age. She now is retired, but enjoys doing interior design for herself and others. With her parents gone and her children grown, the author is now free to enjoy coin collecting, in addition to antique and garage sales.
