His gran says she will get them fixed, but John puts them on his bedside table instead. During the night, needing a glass of milk, John fumbles for his glasses, forgetting that they had been damaged the previous day. And then, as he lifts them up to put them on his face, the most remarkable thing happens. They begin to GLOW!
John encounters Gismoh, a supernatural being who whisks him away to the Unseen Realm. Together they have many adventures as John is challenged to discover the Secret of Arnion. It is in the Unseen Realm that John trains to be a warrior as he faces the diabolical dragon, Abaddon. John's journey becomes a life-and-death race against time, and the stakes couldn't be higher.
