Alastor Cromwell is a twelve-year-old sorcerer who must learn to master his craft in order to defeat an evil sorcerer named, Lucian Crowley. Centuries ago, Lucian battled Merlin and lost. Merlin imprisoned and sealed away Lucian for all eternity. But, one fateful night, Lucian is liberated by some acolytes and seeks revenge on Merlin's descendants. Lucian attacks Alastor's family and leaves him as the last surviving descendant of Merlin. Alastor must locate and train under his father's mentor in order to master and hone his skills to defeat Lucian once and for all. The journey will be long, exhausting, and very dangerous.
