This fairytale starts with Danni's grandfather who wants to buy a nice gift for his future wife while in a port in Japan. There he discovers a beautiful Japanese umbrella. When he admires it he sees a Japanese garden filled with cherry trees in bloom. He figures that a branch of one of these trees is a much better gift to bring home. Before he knows it, he is in the garden only to discover that there is no way out!Fourty years later Danni receives the umbrella after her grandmother told her that her grandfather went to Japan as a sailor but never returned. No one knows what happened to him.Together with her friend Kiko she unravvels the mystery and manages to free grandfather but for what price?
