Captain Vadim's crew of six is missing one member: the Ur Judge Simeon Peters. Missing, legally presumed dead, no one knows where he's gone. That's not the only thing to worry about, however. Kre is potentially the next in line to the Sianar throne, despite leaving to pursue her vocation as a teacher of science. Between the attempts on her life, she decides it's time to see her father. Although the Bankers are no longer impersonating people, Vadim finds his ship targeted again when all he wanted to do was deliver boxes. Who is trying to kill Kre? Why is Loap a politically sensitive target? Who controls what passes for news and what's in the boxes? The show 'Mission' is picked up for a second season, but Ashroe and Sianor are happily writing their own version of events. Their story wavers a little away from canon, but also echoes it in more than a few plotlines. As Sianor leaves the world of full-time education for a job and conventions loom on the horizon, they have to balance out their love of writing with their other love of earning enough money to eat.
