Tilly is a curious and adventurous young girl who drives a bright red car on an exciting trip around the world. Guided by her imagination, she visits famous landmarks, meets interesting animals, discovers different cultures, and tackles playful challenges. Through her travels, storytellers and audiences get to explore the wonders of the world, learn about exploration, friendship, and curiosity, and appreciate both the similarities and differences between various places and cultures.
Book Design/Intent
This book is intended to support the development of critical thinking skills in its readers and audience. Each section focuses on a distinct objective related to fostering individual cognitive growth. Specifically tailored for children ages one to five, this volume encourages dynamic engagement during each reading session; both the storyteller's approach and audience participation should evolve over time. Therefore, it is essential that storytellers actively engage during every interaction. Facilitators should allocate adequate opportunities for participants to articulate their thoughts and are encouraged to pose questions that stimulate problem-solving and reflection. In certain sections, additional prompts for follow-up inquiries will be provided. After posing a question, allow the audience sufficient time to fully express their reasoning.
