This is a story about people, each of whom lives in his own myth. One myth is about living gods, the other about dead ones. One is about unfulfilled love, the other is about happy love. One is about the lost homeland, the other is about rediscovering it. One lives in his own myth, the other lives in someone else's.
In his letters, Davit tells about his friends who return to their homeland in search of ancient treasures. From that return the greatest myth is reborn - the myth of the Tree of Life.
The Cherubim stand guard, lest mortals reach the Tree of Life. But the way is open for all who return to their roots, for the true Eden is in our souls. We expel ourselves from Paradise on the day we sin against ourselves.
The Tree of Life is a symbol of resurrection, a resurrection not for the dead but for the living. For it is not those whose lives are over that are dead, but rather those who live but have lost the myth of their lives. Davit wants all of his friends to reach their Tree of Life and be reborn in the temple of their souls.
