A Test and What True Friendship Means
Emma and Abby are best friends; something Emma didn't think could happen after her move from Maplewood. They share the same hobbies, interests and faith. Abby is a friend who laughs at the same silly things Emma does and they are inseparable, until... When a rumor spreads through the school, Emma and Abby find their friendship unraveling. Hurt feelings, assumptions, and gossip test their loyalty and push them apart. Emma feels hurt and betrayed, and Abby is confused about why Emma isn't speaking to her. Emma reaches out to Lily, her best friend in Maplewood for advice. She prays for God to help her have the courage to ask Abby for the truth. As the other girls try to help mend the rift, the group learns important lessons about honesty, forgiveness, and choosing to believe the best in one another.
