17-year-old Flora was happy as she was... well sort of. She had her group of geek friends, a loving family and a boyfriend. Although she didn't quite know if she wanted to be with him or not.
Then, on the return back to college, Flora meets Drake. He's arrogant, big headed and annoying as hell. But he's also hot. And that's a problem.
Flora doesn't want much to do with Drake but he's got his eyes set on her. But why?
Then comes a day when her friends start acting weird, you know trying to kill her and all that and she doesn't know why. But it's not just her friends who are out to kill her.
There are people lurking, a mysterious woman who only Flora can see and people who can freeze, drown, suffocate her and burn her.
What is going on?
Drake is always there to save her and it becomes clear that he's the same breed as the people who are after her... except Drake isn't trying to kill her.
He's not human. And in some way neither is she. They both have powers to destroy things.
And if she's going to protect her family and friends, she's going to have to learn how to use powers and quick.
But who will come out alive once all this is over?
