Vincent Hoover is a fourteen-year-old boy who lives in the town of Sleepy Hollow with his mother and his older sister. During the past few months, Sleepy Hollow has been plagued with a rapid spree of mysterious kidnappings that have been pushing the town's people over the edge of desperation. With the police unable to locate the missing people, and one person found dead, Vincent began to believe that Sleepy Hollow was heading towards a dark fate until an encounter with Frankenstein's monster reveals to him that not only are the unknown forces behind the kidnappings were monsters of the supernatural kind, but that he was the reincarnation of the legendary monster hunter, Van Helsing.
With the hopes of protecting the ones he loves and the people of Sleepy Hollow, Vincent took the role of Van Helsing as a masked vigilante, making the people debate whether he was the world's first superhero or the menace that caused all the chaos. With the assistance of Frankenstein's monster, Vincent goes into battle with these monsters with the goal of putting a stop to their endgame goal only known as "The Day of Reckoning". But as time continues to run out and the situation grows ever more dire it starts to become unclear to Vincent whether he will be strong enough to prevent the monsters from bringing forth the end of the world.
