The first story is about the personal experiences of Captain David V. Mastran, an eye witness to the war as a member of the general staff at Headquarters 7th Air Force in Saigon. And the third describes the highly classified project he worked on to evaluate McNamara's Wall, the most expensive new technology introduced in the war. The common theme that unifies these stories is the truth of what happened during that fateful year.
