This is my first book since
Life of a Roadie, the Gypsy in Me
.
It's more of a philosophical reflection on all my experiences, including the experience of writing my first book.
I have always thought myself a philosopher, and many of my friends have called me a thinker. Not a stinker, but a thinker.
In interviews, whether on the radio or on television, when the host would ask me, "Ronnie, why did you write your first book?" My answer always is that if I could just save the life of one person reading my book, then I have done my job.
It's more of an expression, but my mantra has been, "Never give up, never give up, never give up!" I have also said my first book has a bit of the original Rocky movie vibe, and woven throughout the book is the flavor of the Jimmy Stewart movie
It's a Wonderful Life
It bothers me when I hear that someone has committed suicide, and my first thought is, if only they could have read my first book! Now, here is my second book. Enjoy the read.
As I said, reading the first book is recommended before going on this adventure where, like a lighthouse guiding ships on the mighty ocean, philosophy is lighting the way.
Enjoy the sequel.
~ Ronnie Rush
Ronnie Rush left Hollywood in 1984 to head to Sacramento to be with his First Love. Ronnie knew no one except the girl he was going to be with and start a new life. Read more about Ronnie as he, like Rush Limbaugh, made Sacramento
his adopted Hometown. Through the years, Ronnie blazed a trail in radio, concert promoter, as well as becoming a local Author.
Prior to Sacramento, Ronnie was with a famous group, known around the world and worked for Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds
as a Roadie. Read all about it in his first of two books, Life of a Roadie, the Gypsy in me. His second just released book, Walk A Mile in my Shoes.
