Linda Peterson loved growing up in Geogia, where she had many friends and was quite popular. When her parents moved to West Virginia she considered staying in Georgia, but chose to give relocation a try. From day one she felt out of place. It was hard, so Linda adjusted to this new life by spending time with her mother, who had been her security blanket since she was born. Linda soon realized that eighteen was much too old to confide in a parent for friendship and company, so was ready to move back home after less than a year.
Then, Linda met Elizabeth... They both loved horseback riding and quickly became best friends. Yet, Linda's problems always seemed to be bigger than she bargained for. She tried to enjoy a simple lifestyle which was hard to maintain considering her celebratory parents.
