Aurea lives close to a small village in the middle of forest, in the land of Elëgan. Her very existence is a mystery; she was abandoned in a forest as a baby, and a strange, silver pattern in the shape of a dragon adorns her back. Her guardian always told her she was special, but not even he knew how much. Aurea is suddenly faced with the responsibility of being a Dragon Rider. Her Dragon -Azura- is her main priority now, and her biggest comfort in the grievous times she faces. When a terrorist is out to kill her, she seeks guidance from the High King and High Council, the greatest Dragon Riders in Elëgan. Meanwhile, a mysterious character arrives at the stronghold. His thoughts and interactions with other characters are heard by the reader, but his name is his secret, as he carries out the will of his Father to protect an innocent life.
