Aroused by a painting, by a statue, even by an article in the news, it stimulates me to write about what I have seen, what in my mind I have heard, as a Tale or better, as a poem, this is a form defined by the poet John Keats as Ekphrasis. Actually much of poetry is written on this basis, and can be utilized for almost any form of comparison, and need not be something that actualyhas to be visualized. Basically, it is anything that having been visualized, is now expressed in words, whether well-known or incidentally derived.
