"White Roses, Red Petals" is a take on the mental trauma, suffering and relationship dynamics in the controversial life of ever-so eclectic business magnate Saanjh. As Danyal reminisces about his indelible time spent with Saanjh, who is well-set in her own ways, he realizes that she's much more than what is seen on the surface. Dismally, she comes with baggage of her own that seems to get heavier and heavier with each footstep of hers. It turns out that after all those years of knowing (and not to forget loving) her, she is still a mystery to Danyal. He finds himself amidst a melancholy and passionate love song. As she treads her way through, finally shedding the remains of mental trauma and sufferings of the past, she finds herself amidst another tragic tale. The way in which her fantasy comes into being is something that bashes her in the pit of overwhelming guilt. Something grim, really grim, happens which quakes her world upside down and all the lost puzzle pieces start falling into hollow spaces. Yes, Saanjh did manage to break the glass ceiling like she always wanted, but at what cost? Money can surely buy material things, but can it buy the invaluable time that is allotted to you in this world? Will Saanjh ever forgive herself for being the sole cause behind that damned day? Will she ever be able to wipe that overwhelming guilt out of her soul?
