“Man will choose his position, money, and his status over the truth in the Bible.” – CALVIN BROWN There are individuals who believe that speaking in tongues is the only way to verify that the Holy Spirit is within you. Also, if you can’t speak in tongues then you can’t become a member of their church. These individuals have churches, books, websites, and their own denomination that practice this belief. Who needs to verify that the Holy Spirit is within you? Not man! – Jesus knows where He dwells Which gift is greatest? 1 Corinthians 14:2-5 Who said that everyone is going to get the same gift? The Bible does not say that!!! – Romans 12:4 – 6 & Corinthians 12:11 In this story, a born-again Christian is involved in a strange incident at a particular church that he was attending and now he is seeking answers. The incident involved the gift of speaking in tongues. A series of events occur while he is researching and studying the Bible for answers. His questions are answered by Him who matters most.
