Our family has enjoyed the great up north for many years, living and vacationing in a small town called Stone Lake in Wisconsin. The books in this series are about the life of our family and the families that treasure this special place. There are many lakes in Wisconsin. These books are based on Musky Bay on Lake Big Sissabagama. This is the lake on which our family cabin resides, where loons call, eagles soar, and bears, with their cubs, look for campfire smore's and other good things to eat from the night before. The winter white landscape is stunning. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, the Up North Children's series will cover all the seasons and times of the wonder in the woods up north.
