No zombies you say? Shakespeare said; "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Not very zombie specific I agree. It does point up the fact we know much less than we could about our world and it's surprises. Most people, even those who enjoy the zombie genre are going to say that zombies aren't and can't be real. Zombies, possible? Not possible? Personally I do wonder about things we are seeing in the news in the last few years. Ebola is a deadly disease caused by infection with a strain of Ebola virus. The 2014 Ebola epidemic is the largest in history. The Ebola virus attacks connective tissue multiplying rapidly in collagen. Collagen is the tissue that helps to keep the organs in place. The tissue is basically digested by this virus. Ten years ago how many people would have believed that people would be eaten alive by a virus? Zombies aren't possible you say? There's no such thing as zombies, right? Of course not! That's one of those things everyone 'knows', no such thing as the living dead! Of course, it wasn't that long ago that experts said the world was flat. They said, if a man traveled more than 20mph his heart would explode. In the 1930s Chester Gould introduced the two-way wrist radio to his comic strip. People enjoyed the absurd idea. It was great for Dick Tracy to help him battle the villains. Of course it could never actually be created. No zombies you say? It might be time to reevaluate that idea, don't you think? Still not convinced? You might want to check with Ray and his friends, since they now know more than they ever wanted to about zombies!
